Livewire AM
Livewire 1350AM, UEA’s student radio station, is one of the longest established and best respected student radio stations in the country. It was founded in 1989, opened by John Peel, and is run by UEA students, broadcasting to its very own University campus, the Norwich area and anyone else! Every day from 10am-12am we bring you varying shows with a range of musical styles, as well as the latest music and student news. As well as the radio station we host loads of great live events. Hearing Aid, Livewire’s biggest charity event, is a day of fun games to raise money for a charity of our choice. We also hunt for the best unsigned band in our Livewire Unsigned competition, not to mention a whole host of DJ nights and club nights, including Homesick Beats.
