The station is currently owned by South Seas Broadcasting, Inc.[3] It originally signed on in November 1999 with a Hot AC format.[1] South Seas Broadcasting is owned by Larry Fuss, Kirk Harnack and Smitty Lutu.[4]The station was assigned the KKHJ-FM call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on June 26, 2007.[2][edit]
