Internet Radio Linking Project is an internet project linking amateur (ham) radio stations around the world by using Voice over IP (VoIP). It uses gateways consisting of a dedicated computer running custom software to change radio signals into code with the ability to be heard on the Internet. This arrangement forms what is known as an IRLP Node.
