Valley Radio is a local internet radio station covering Wakefield, Normanton, Pontefract, Featherstone, Castleford and Knottingley. Our main studios are based at the Glasshoughton Centre in Castleford.Playing music from the 1970s to now including some hit songs from the 1960s. We’re a up-beat station with local chat, sport and showbiz news at breakfast and drivetime, specialist features throughout the day and UK news and local weather on the hour 24/7. We also promote local charities, clubs, societies, businesses and events on a regular basis.
