X-Media Online is one of the four parts of Exeter University's X-Media. Previously known as X-Net, X-Media Online Launched in 2007 to unite the online presence of the X-Media under a single web site. X-Media Online came about in 2007 as a re-branding of X-Net and a new website was developed over the summer of 2007 ready for launch in the 2007 academic year.
