Talk 92.1 – WDDQ

Our studio and equipment are brand new, however our story, our listener-ship and our commitment to his area span two decades. Owner and morning show host Scott James began serving our radio market in 1989 as a disc jockey, programmer, and then station manager. His commitment to Valdosta grew through the years, as did his determination to super-serve the region. He wanted to see a station that centered on the community, keeping residents in the know about events that shaped their world, in a format that offered a topical, up to date, conversational platform.The culmination of Scott’s vision arrived with the availability of a local radio station to purchase, which gave us Talk 92.1. Live, local programming is our backbone. Scott has his hand on the pulse of the area and wakes up Valdosta with “no fluff” up-to-the-minute commentary. He features guests ranging from Relay-For-Life volunteers to a standing bi-weekly, in-studio conversation with Mayor John Fretti. Additional “Local L
