WYEA Christian Radio went on the air in April of 1983. I was privileged to be one of the announcers on the very first day. We play a mix of Christian Country (one of the fastest growing segments in Christian radio) and Southern Gospel.We also include great programming like "Viewpoint", " Dr. David Jeremiah", "Turning Point," plus " Southwest Radio Church." There is one weekend broadcast that's been with us the whole time – the broadcast from the "Jesus Saves Deliverance Temple" in Odena.WYEA is located on Motes Road just off the Talladega Highway.
